BJSS, the award-winning delivery-focused IT consultancy, announces the appointment of Carl Austin as chief technology officer where he will be responsible for driving growth through digital transformation. He will also play a key role in setting the Company’s technical direction and acting as a key enabler of technical and technology solution consulting.
Before joining BJSS in 2014 as a Senior Architecture Engineer, Carl worked for Detica (now BAE Systems Applied Intelligence) where he served as chief architect of the Detica CyberReveal product.
Carl’s experience covers the entire SDLC, specialising in distributed systems, DevOps and Cloud. While at BJSS, Carl has delivered complex distributed computing systems and has advised on all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle for clients in the financial services, commodities, public sector and retail industries.
