The 2023 UK IT Industry Awards ceremony took place in London on Thursday 9th November, where BJSS and Care Fertility were awarded Healthcare Sector Project of the Year. 

The UK IT Industry Awards celebrate and acknowledge the organisations, teams, projects, technologies, and innovations shaping the future of IT and the industry.  

BJSS and Care Fertility were selected as finalists for delivering a transformative project that uses AI to improve IVF selection. The multi award winning project now adds the 2023 Healthcare Sector Project of the Year to the list of accolades. 

Prof Alison Campbell, Chief Scientific Officer at Care Fertility and Tom Mellor, Head of Health & Life Sciences at BJSS said: “The team is thrilled to receive this recognition for Caremaps-AI. This innovative, pioneering work is changing lives by improving peoples’ chances to have a much-wanted baby.  AI in IVF laboratories is a huge, exciting leap forwards.”  

BJSS and DVSA colleagues also attended the ceremony, where the Commercial Vehicle Service (CVS) project was a finalist for Public Sector Project of the Year.
