BJSS and Met Office SIGWX project among 2024 Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards finalists.

The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) has revealed the finalists for the 2024 MCA Awards, with BJSS one of over 40 leading consulting firms on the list of finalists.

The awards, now in their 27th year, celebrate the impactful innovations and technologies delivered to clients across the consulting sector.

Transformation and digital adoption feature across all 12 categories including a BJSSs digital transformation project with the Met Office that was shortlisted within the Technology Transformation category.

Met Office Significant Weather (SIGWX) forecasts are an essential tool for the aviation industry, enabling informed flight planning decisions. BJSS was challenged to help futureproof the SIGWX system, transforming the legacy-based forecasting process and manual report creation to enhance the delivery of crucial weather data.

Developments to the SIGWX system are helping to increase the safety and efficiency of flight planning and improve the customer experience.
