BJSS the award-winning delivery-focused IT consultancy announces that it is converting its existing Bristol facility into a full Digital Delivery Hub. This expansion will see BJSS inject significant investment into the City.

Tapping into the wealth of creative IT talent available in the Bristol and Bath area, local project delivery teams will provide online, mobile and IT engineering services to clients across the UK and USA, while also fulfilling services that originate from BJSS’ boutique innovation consultancy, SPARCK.

The investment will exceed £2 million in its first year alone and is expected to include:

  • The recruitment of an additional 20 first-class IT staff, mainly from the Bristol and Bath areas, including full-stack software engineers, UI & Website specialists, test engineers, mobile application developers, and UX (User Experience) consultants
  • An expansion of the existing office facility
  • Dedicated Engagement and Account Management leadership.

James Whitehouse, BJSS Head of Client Services, comments: “We’re delighted that Bristol will become home to our first Digital Delivery Hub. Many organisations have found that off-shoring the delivery of their business-critical IT systems has failed to deliver the rapid time to market, quality, and cost savings that are needed in today’s digital economy. By ‘nearshoring’ key programmes of work, BJSS clients benefit from increased collaboration & innovation, and access to highly skilled teams that focus on successful outcomes. Added to this, BJSS is in the unique position to offer technical design, prototyping and product innovation - an area where our Bristol-based Digital Delivery Hub will excel. Bristol is renowned for being a major hub of IT talent with a thriving Technology community. We look forward to welcoming professionals from the region to our existing team of over 500 BJSS colleagues.”
