After opening its hub in Houston's Galleria Tower last year, BJSS is poised to rapidly increase its presence in Houston in 2019.

UK-headquartered BJSS, which has offices in the UK and the US, has more than 1,200 consultants, a turnover of over $160 million and is a recent winner of the Queen's Award for Enterprise.

Amir Soufizadeh has been appointed as head of delivery for Houston with a mission to increase the company's footprint in the area.

Commenting on his new challenge Soufizadeh said: “Our biggest challenge is securing talent, partly because of the shortfall in technical resources in Houston. BJSS is trying to mitigate this issue by looking at a range of options including relocating some of its existing employees to Houston. BJSS has an enviable delivery track record in some of the world’s most demanding environments. Following the success of our New York office, we’re keen to meet the needs of clients in the Houston area, and will offer locally-based talent opportunities to work with the best people in the industry on some of the most exciting consulting engagements."

Jonathan Marrs, Head of Trade and Investment at the UK’s Department of International Trade in Houston, says: “We are delighted to work alongside BJSS as they increase their footprint in the US, and what better city to do this in than Houston. With over 25 years of delivering innovative IT and business services to clients across the UK and US, BJSS exemplifies UK excellence and innovation. We look forward to their continued success as they settle in Houston."
