UK technology and engineering consultancy BJSS has been named as a 2023 AWS Innovation Partner of the Year. This award recognises technology leaders around the globe helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
BJSS has demonstrated innovative consulting, creating outstanding customer experiences via an integrated lifecycle of services. This includes initial assessment; cloud environment architecture, development and deployment; and ongoing migration and management of cloud infrastructure and applications.
By collaborating with AWS, BJSS has been empowered to deliver new technologies and services to key industries. This includes:
- Designing and delivering a revolutionary medical imaging AI solution to transform embryo selection during IVF and improve outcomes for clinicians and patients.
- Delivering agile ways of working for the DVSA by migrating its Testing & Registration System away from a legacy data centre and onto the cloud.
- Undertaking a digital transformation for online retailer Beauty Bay that has enabled the business to scale for growth, and shift to data-driven decision making across the company.

About the Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards
For the second year in a row, Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards included a self-nomination process across several award categories, which are awarded at both the geo and global level. All AWS Partners were invited to participate and submit a nomination. Award submissions were reviewed by a third party, Canalys, and selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases presented in the nomination form.
In addition, there were a number of data-driven award categories, which were comprised of a unique set of metrics that helped measure AWS Partners’ performance within the past year. Canalys audited the datasets used to ensure that all measurements and calculations were objective and correct in nature.
