Bolstered by strong growth and client demand, BJSS today announces an ambitious expansion drive which will see the IT consultancy invest in eight new locations across the UK.
Comprising greenfield investments in traditional metropolitan centres such as Liverpool, Aberdeen and Swansea, the expansion also includes secondary commuter locations such as Lincoln and York. Other locations include Exeter, Reading and Milton Keynes.
250 new jobs have been immediately created to support these new BJSS locations. These roles will tap into the wealth of creative IT talent available in these local areas to contribute towards the delivery of technology, engineering and consulting services to BJSS’ global client base. The Company will also introduce its award-winning BJSS Academy learning and development infrastructure to these locations in the future, providing fresh opportunities to local school leavers, apprentices, university graduates, and people retraining or returning to work.
Andrew Campbell, BJSS Director of Delivery, comments: “Our UK-wide expansion brings tremendous value to local commercial and talent markets, and further demonstrates our commitment to our clients and staff across a broader geographical spread. It also creates fresh opportunities for professionals wishing to combine local working with BJSS’ international reach and leading hybrid working practices. We look forward to welcoming new BJSS colleagues to our existing team of over 2,000 people.”
Founded in 1993, BJSS is headquartered in Leeds, with offices across the UK, EU, USA and Australia. To support this expansion drive, the Company is initially recruiting for various software delivery roles, including platform and infrastructure engineers. As each location grows, there will be increased demand for technology consultants, strategists and non-technical roles. Current roles are listed at bjss.com/joinus.
