With the decommissioning of GOV.UK Paas in Dec 2023 there is an urgent need for government agencies relying on it for access to cloud services to replatform their workloads to continue providing digital services.

As a minimum all agencies will need to lift and shift their workloads from Gov PaaS. In doing so an opportunity to modernise the workloads architecture and mature how the organisation deploys into the cloud is presented.

With BJSS’ GOV.UK PaaS and cloud migration experience we have created a consistent approach to replatform from GOV PaaS with minimum loss of data or potential zero service interruption.

Leveraging native cloud services, and where appropriate accelerator blue prints like our BJSS Landing Zone we, use open-source technologies, meaning there is are no hidden licence cost or vendor lock in. 

It enables the secure and well-governed access to cloud services, and other government services and integrations such as GovPay – but in a way that doesn’t hinder innovation and agility.

What BJSS Will Do:
